Our client approached us to design her a new kitchen space for her new build property she had recently bought. The initial space included the very spacious kitchen living room area of 7.47 metres x 6.93 metres in total. The client initially requested that she wanted a warm and sleek kitchen but not in a shaker style and it had to accommodate plenty of storage within the kitchen and utility room for both her kitchen equipment and her beloved cat’s equipment.

After an initial consultation in our Ilkley showroom, she fell in love with the Porter range in Graphite by Second Nature Kitchens. As the space was considerably large, we designed a connected storage unit at the opposing end of the kitchen to connect both spaces together and gave an overall congruence to the space. Our client loved the design for her Utility space and felt Mark, the key designer, really listened to what she needed especially in relation to her well loved cat! As part of the design, Mark built in accessible spaces within the Utility area which housed carry cases , sleeping basket and other equipment for her cat.

Our clients request for a large kitchen island brought the connecting parts of the kitchen together and allowed for plenty of food prep and entertaining space whilst also uplifting the darker tones of the kitchen units with the lightness of the marble work surface.

In the bedroom, our client had requested storage units for her walk in wardrobe space attached to her bedroom area. We designed the space in a bespoke way to maximise the high ceilings and provide as much storage capacity within the walk in area. Using the Unity bedroom range in Taupe Grey for its sleek minimal appearance, but in a lighter grey beige in line with the carpeting throughout the bedroom area, the client was delighted with the finished result.
