Our client, Nicola was in the process of having an extension built onto the rear of her property and was looking to us to create her a kitchen which fit within the space next to the extended area.

She wanted to create a sense of space and light and as such she chose to combine a lighter colour for the upper cabinets and a soft green for the lower ones. The range she loved the most was The Belsay range with upper cabinets in Porcelain and lower in Reed Green which perfectly compliment each other.

Nicola decided to choose a woodgrain work surface rather than stone to add an extra element of warmth and earthiness which adds a grounding anchor between the porcelain higher units and the reed green underneath.

We designed an extended island attached to the main units to give her high dining seating given the overall space rather than a central kitchen island.

We fitted a storage unit in the same design on the opposing wall next to her wood burning stove which connected the dining space to the kitchen area.
