Period Property in Addingham, Yorkshire
We recently completed this stunning kitchen project and utility room in a characterful, period property in the stylish village of Addingham, West Yorkshire. There were several factors to consider when designing the layout of this kitchen project. Our client wanted space to integrate an American style fridge, have an area to use as a drinks cabinet, integrate a double oven at height and a double Belfast sink unit.
The client chose our very popular Mornington Shaker style range in Stone for the primary kitchen cabinet units and in Charcoal for the kitchen island and the wall of units housing the drinks cabinet, wine cooler and storage areas. The worktops throughout are in Calacatta Gold stone which perfectly enhances the cabinetry in both colourways.
Internally, the lower cabinets were fitted with Kesseböhmer storage solutions for easy and efficient access to pans and kitchen essentials.
The sink area was position under the SE facing garden area bringing in a lot of natural light, whilst the American style fridge and double oven were positioned opposite the sink on the rear wall. The space is cohesive after the removal of an internal wall, opening up the space to include the high dining area of the kitchen island and the lower dining area of the circular dining table.
